Housing
Housing for one month is included in the program price for all ISA DIRECT programs. As ISA DIRECT is specially
designed for students who desire more independence at the lowest price, these programs include only one month
of accommodations. During this month, students will decide if they would like to remain in the ISA-arranged
housing for the duration of the program (for an additional cost) or if they would like to find their own accommodations.
Homestays are the norm for Spain, where students are provided with three meals per day and laundry service
once a week. Students usually share a bedroom with another student but have the option of paying extra to
secure an individual room. On a case-by-case basis and given advance notice, ISA DIRECT may be able to place
students in a residencia or boarding house. This option is more widely available to students participating in
a year-long program. Please inquire with ISA DIRECT for additional information.
ISA host families are chosen based on an intensive interview process as well as student evaluations. We place
students with host families according to the preferences they outline in their housing questionnaire. Please
inquire with the ISA office if you have any questions about ISA Direct housing.
