Additional Estimated Expenses
We would like to make note of the fact that ISA provides the
following list of estimated expenses as a guide. As each student and
program is different, so are the expenses.
The ISA program cost includes items such as tuition and fees,
one month of housing in the host city, insurance, and more. Please see specific program
descriptions for details.
Books & Supplies
We estimate that students should expect to spend the following
amounts on books and course materials:
|
Semester/Trimester
|
$250-300
|
|
Year
|
$350-500
|
Miscellaneous
For each program we anticipate that students may expect to spend
$100 per week for incidentals such as toiletries, snacks
bought outside the home, taxi and bus fares and other miscellaneous
items. ISA site-specific materials for students may differ from this
amount, but this is an estimated amount for budgeting/financial aid
purposes.
Food
The cost of food will vary according to location and eating
habits. If you are living with a host family, this price will most
likely be factored into your monthly rent. If you are covering food
on your own, you could determine your food cost by converting the
amount you spend in the US into euros. For example, if you typically
spend $250 a month on food, you could convert that into euros to
estimate how much you will need for this expense.
Airfare
Flights are not included in any ISA program cost.
The estimated cost for airfare from the US to
each of our arrival cities is listed below.
