A transcript must be submitted by each ISA applicant so that we
can assess the prospective participant's eligibility. If the student
has attended multiple universities he/she should submit a transcript
from each university attended.
Grade Point Average
First of all, we look at grade point average. ISA Direct
applicants must have a 3.0 to be eligible. If a student's GPA is
lower than a 3.0, s/he should contact the ISA office.
Language Background
Secondly, on the transcript, we look at a prospective
participant's language background. ISA DIRECT students must have
completed a minimum of 4 semesters/ 6 quarters of college level
Spanish.
Please refer to the eligibility information pertaining
specifically to your program to know if your language background is
suitable. Each program section on this website or in the ISA Direct
catalog denotes how many semesters of a college-level foreign
language class are required for the ISA Direct program. Also, please
do not hesitate to call ISA with any questions!
