Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Situated in northwestern Spain in the lush region of Galicia, Santiago de Compostela is a city overflowing with architectural and religious significance. Santiago heralds a religious importance for Christianity almost comparable to that of Jerusalem and Rome, as it’s the final destination of one of the most important pilgrimage routes: St. James Route. With its many churches and religious monuments, Santiago is one of Spain’s top destinations for tourists. The city owes its youthful population and liveliness to the University of Santiago de Compostela, which welcomes over 30,000 students annually. Santiago is also known for its regionally-acclaimed shellfish, delicious wines, and the popular dessert, torta de Santiago.

ISA DIRECT offers programs in Santiago de Compostela that vary in length and academic focus. All courses are taught in Spanish by host university professors.
