Overview

Program participants are enrolled in courses with Spaniards at the University of Extremadura. The mandatory intensive three-week orientation course with accommodations is included in the program dates and prices. Students will complete 45 hours of instruction during this orientation course. The Semester and Year programs offer a wide variety of courses such as: Spanish Literature, Applied Linguistics, History and Politics, International and Spanish Economy, Trade, Biology, and more. All courses are taught in Spanish by local professors. Semester students will select courses from the appropriate semester listings below. Year students can select courses from the year and/or semester listings.

Eligibility

• For superior-level Spanish speakers only. Students must have completed at least 2 upper-division Spanish courses or the equivalent.
• Students must have a 3.0 GPA
